North Richland Hills, TX - A new Peppa Pig Theme Park is coming to Texas in 2024. The park will be located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, on the site of the former Mountasia Family Fun Center. The 14-acre park will feature rides, interactive attractions, themed playscapes, and shows, all based on the popular children's television show Peppa Pig.
The park will be operated by Merlin Entertainments, the company behind Legoland Discovery Centers and Sea Life Aquariums. Merlin has already opened one Peppa Pig Theme Park in Florida, and the Texas park will be the second one in the United States.
"We are excited to bring the world of Peppa Pig to life in North Texas," said Matt Proulx, Vice President Location Based Entertainment at Hasbro. "This park will be a fun and engaging experience for families of all ages, and we can't wait to see guests create lifelong memories with Peppa and her friends."
Some of the rides and attractions that have been announced for the Texas park include:
Daddy Pig's Roller Coaster: A family rollercoaster for the kids and kids at heart
Peppa Pig's Big Bus Ride: A colorful bus ride that takes guests on an adventure through Peppa's world.
George's Dinosaur Adventure: A family-friendly dark ride that takes guests on a journey through the land of dinosaurs.
Muddy Puddles Splash Pad: A water play area with fountains, slides, and water cannons.
Peppa Pig's Playground: A large outdoor play area with slides, swings, and other interactive features.
Peppa Pig's Party Boat: A boat ride that takes guests on a tour of the park.
The park will also feature live shows, character meet-and-greets, and themed shops.
